Missions

Our work in the missions has taught us to extend ourselves,
as did Blessed Angela, to do more to bring people to God.

Our call to Evangelization has grown and we are
spreading to many parts of the world, teaching His Word.

List of ministries opened in our Congregation during the last 30 years dedicated to service to the poor and located, in most cases, among the poor. Here we are speaking about the material, spiritual, physical, and psychological poor, as well as the marginalized, alienated, and refugees.

We stand on the side of those who cannot
advocate for themselves in society: the unemployed,
the weak, the marginalized, or those considered «unwanted».
We take all possible action to restore the
human dignity and rights of all.
We express our unanimity with the Declaration of Human Rights
which should be recognized by all. We acknowledge that every person
has the right to healthcare and education.

FELICIAN SISTERS HEAR THE GOOD NEWS

Human life cannot be realized by itself. Our life is an open question, an incomplete project, still to be brought to fruition. Each person’s fundamental questions are: How will this be realized? How does one learn the art of living? What is the path toward happiness?

To evangelize means to show this path, to teach the art of living. At the beginning of his public life Jesus said, “I have come to evangelize the poor.” (Luke 4:18). This means that I have the response to your fundamental question. I will show you the path of life, the path toward happiness—rather, I am that path. (Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (Address to Catechists and Religion Teachers, Jubilee of Catechists, 12 December 2000)
They are blessed who come to know the secret of true life. They, who hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, cannot keep it just for themselves but desire to share it and bring it to others.

We, the Felician Sisters, are among those who have heard the Good News. Following the passion of our Foundress Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska. With all Christians we share the obligation to bring Jesus` message and grace to all people and to permeate the world with the spirit of the Gospel.

We want to share with you how and where our Felician Sisters fulfill their mission of evangelization, to teach the art of living and to show the path to true life. We invite you to join us in bringing others to Jesus Christ.

Angela, you were moved by the plight of neglected children, women, the sick, the homeless, the aged, the illiterate, immigrants, victims of war, and all who did not know the love and mercy of God, Pray for these people in our world today.
