Do you know a compassionate young adult who believes in the fundamental dignity of each person? We are offering men and women the opportunity to volunteer in direct service with the poor while living a simple lifestyle in community with other volunteers. Volunteers In Mission offers formation in the Felician- Franciscan values, spirituality and charism, engagement with Felician Sisters, and service to those in need.
We welcome volunteers from ages 18-39, from various backgrounds, who are able to live independently in a community setting modeling Franciscan spirituality and lifestyle. To be considered, volunteers must complete a program for the protection of vulnerable people, have a high school diploma or GED, complete and submit an application with references and favorably satisfy a background check.
If accepted, volunteers will commit to a 10-month volunteer mission at the Deo Gratias Ministry in Detroit, Michigan from September 2022 to June 2023. Please share this information on social media and with your contacts.
